Description

We warmly invite you to attend WIT’s very special High Tea Networking Event! (A High Tea for I.T. as it were)

Come along to meet a diverse group of career-minded females working in the tech industry from different fields, including tech consulting, academia, entrepreneurship and game development.

For the afternoon, you will be seated alongside women from the tech industry as well as other like minded students on tables of eight. Not only will you have a chance to sit down, have high tea and ask any questions you may have about your field of interest, but afterwards you will also have the opportunity to freely network with all attendees present.

The theme for this year's High Tea is ‘Challenging Expectations’, and WIT has worked hard to ensure the industry representatives attending will be able to give you valuable insights, and share their stories of how they have challenged the expectations placed upon females in their technical field, and excelled past them.

If you are interested in seeing what pursuing a future in tech could look like, please attend this special networking event!

Tickets are priced at $20 for a University of Melbourne student, and $50 for industry representatives.

The dresscode for this event is smart casual.
